Four-Year aged Corojo tobacco leaves are expertly blended for this Dominican puro that is exceedingly smooth and creamy with medium-bodied flavor. The original La Aurora Cien Años was launched in 2003. That cigar was launched to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the La Aurora cigar factory in the Dominican Republic, the oldest factory in the country, as a very limited production run and it received very high reviews at the time. The La Aurora Cien Años was a Dominican puro featuring a Dominican Corojo wrapper. Due to popular demand, La Aurora made a decision to re-launch the cigar in 2012. The La Aurora Cien Años was re-launched in three sizes and limited to 20,000 cigars per size. The maduro version was even more limited as it was only made in only one format, a 5 x 50 robusto, and limited to 7,000 cigars (280 25-ct. boxes). The 2013 La Aurora 100 Anos Edicion Especial Robusto has a secondary "Edicion Especial" red band and is one of the rarest and best maduro cigars available in the world, sporting a thick and dark Connecticut Broadleaf wrapper over vintage Dominican Corojo leaves.Anthony's Cigar Emporium has La Aurota 100 Anos Robusto Maduro Edicion Especial IN STOCK!
