Corto is being called Warped’s strongest cigar to date. It made its debut at the 2015 IPCPR Convention in a single vitola, the X50, a Short Robusto that is slightly box pressed. The name Corto translates to “Short”, and that is what the Warped Corto will debut as, a short flavor burst. Kyle Gellis, founder of Warped Cigars said the Corto it isn’t a spice bomb but is a balanced offering of multiple spices and a rich complexity that promises to keep the smoker engaged throughout the entire experience. The Corto is a Nicaraguan puro made at the Tabacos Valle de Jalapa S.A. (TABSA) in Estelí, Nicaragua and features a Nicaraguan Corojo '99 wrapper and binder with Nicaraguan Criollo '98 and Corojo '99 fillers. Wapred calls the Corto Full bodied and it is not "short" on flavor. The Warped Corto will be a limited production cigar of one size per year. The next size, the X46 will be introduced at this year's IPCPR Convention and is also slightly box pressed.
