Arturo Fuente cigars are made in Santiago, Dominican Republic. The company was founded by Arturo Fuente in Tampa, Florida, in 1912 and is still run by the Fuente family.

OpusX is Arturo Fuente's flagship, launched in 1995 as the first premium cigar made with a Dominican-grown wrapper. The tobacco comes from the family's Chateau de la Fuente farm, and limited production makes it one of the most sought-after cigars in the world.

Lines like OpusX and some Hemingway sizes are made in small batches because the family grows and ages its own tobacco and won't rush it. Shipments are limited and sell quickly, so check back often or call us for availability.

Yes. The Gran Reserva, Hemingway and Don Carlos lines are smooth and approachable, with mild to medium strength. OpusX is fuller bodied and better saved for when you know what you like.

Keep cigars in a humidor at around 65–70% humidity and 65–70°F. Cigars that dry out burn hot and taste harsh, and too much humidity causes uneven burns and mold. If you don't have a humidor yet, an airtight container with a two-way humidity pack works well for a few weeks.
