La Flor Dominicana was founded in 1994 by Litto Gomez and Ines Lorenzo-Gomez. The company grows much of its own tobacco on its La Canela farm in the Dominican Republic, which gives it control over its blends from seed to finished cigar.
LFD is best known for powerful, flavorful cigars like the Double Ligero line, and for creative shapes such as the Chisel. Its Andalusian Bull was named Cigar Aficionado's Cigar of the Year in 2016, and the limited 10th Anniversary release is one of the most requested cigars in our store. We also carry milder LFD blends for smokers who want the flavor without the full strength.
