My Father La Promesa

Translated as “the promise,” the cigar features an Ecuadorian habano oscuro wrapper covering a Nicaraguan binder and filler grown by the García family on their farms. It is being produced at the My Father Cigars S.A. factory in Estelí, Nicaragua.

The line will be offered in five sizes:

My Father La Promesa Robusto Grande (5 1/2 x 54) — (Box of 20)
My Father La Promesa Toro (6 x 52) — (Box of 20)
My Father La Promesa Lancero (7 1/2 x 38) — (Box of 20)
My Father La Promesa Petite (4 1/2 x 50) — (Box of 20)
My Father La Promesa Corona Gorda (5 1/2 x 48) — (Box of 20)

According to a report by Cigar Aficionado, the name comes from a promise made by José “Pepín” García to his family when he left Cuba in 2001 that he would prove himself and his capabilities in the tobacco and cigar industries while making his family proud of his success.
