Padilla Cava ("Cave" in Spanish), features a poem on the foot band by Ernesto Padilla's father, Heberto, the famous Cuban poet who was imprisoned by Fidel Castro in 1971. Freed in 1980, Señor Padilla passed in 2000, and with Cava, Ernesto pays homage to his father's literary legacy. Nicaraguan long-filler wrapped in a rich Ecuadorian leaf, the smoke features flavors of cedary fragrance, a slight pepper, and raw vanilla bean. Best smoked slow to enjoy all the subtleties and nuances, the Padilla Cava is one smoke you're not going to want to miss.

I love Padilla; always been a regular smoker of their lines. I was a bit hesitant when the Cava came out though, due to it's very different look. I'm a fan of consistency. I was a little taken aback, but once I had smoked one, I immediately wanted another. There was something elusively outstanding about the taste - I couldn't even describe it to you. So now I'm back to buy a box. Thanks ACE guys - you're one of the few places where I can buy singles to try the stick first, and then boxes when I know I like it.
