In 2015, L'Atelier debuted a new regular production line called La Mission, in keeping with French motifs in labeling and packaging. As for the blend, the cigar is draped in a maduro Mexican San Andrés wrapper, with 100% Nicaraguan binder and filler that incorporate the same Sancti Spiritus leaf that is a hybrid of Criollo and Pelo de Oro that L'Atelier has used in all of its L'Atelier label cigars and prized for its spicy sweet characteristics. The La Mission has been blended by the García family and manufactured at its My Father Cigars S.A. factory in Estelí, Nicaragua. Each La Mission will be a box-pressed cigar with a pig-tail cap. The cigar is very robust and full bodied yet complex and balanced. The L'Atelier La Mission cigars have no affiliation with the Château La Mission Haut-Brion wine.
