The Montecristo Artisan Batch 1 is the first in a series of limited edition cigars from a private batch of tobaccos from the Grupo de Maestro’s (Altadis’ group of master blenders) tobacco reserves. Every leaf is hand selected by just three of the Grupo de Maestros who, in turn, have selected a single buncher and roller pair to personally roll each and every Montecristo Artisan. The Montecristo Artisan Batch 1 consists of an Ecuadorian Habano wrapper, Dominican binder, and a combination of Dominican and Honduran filler. It is packaged in 15 count boxes and only a total of 40,000 cigars have been produced for this one and done release. The Montecristo Artisan Batch 1 delivers a medium to full bodied smoke with coffee, cream and earthy notes.
