With a mineral and earthy note to start, a citrus flavor and chocolaty notes, you'd think the LFD would go full bodied fast - but you'd be surprised! Compared to the Ligero and Double Ligero lines, the 1994 is a medium bodied smoke with enough complexity to confund even the most complicated palates. If you've wanted to try LFD but are afraid because of their noteriety for strong, hearty cigars - give this one a go, and perhaps you'll find a journey down LFD's yellow brick road. Who knows, you might even end up trying a Chapter 1!

Incredible Stein. Massive size, beautiful construction. It is not a humidor jar, which is the only negative. Other than that it is a wonderful collectors piece and fits fantastically as a centerpiece to my set. The sticks themselves are good too - do not get me wrong. It is just that the stein is very much the centerpiece here, and then the cigars. The 1994 blend is good. I prefer the mildness of the LFD football blend though.
