I'm always drinking when I'm smoking, and it's usually craft beer, so when I saw Quesada made a cigar to pair with Oktoberfest beers specifically, I jumped ALL over that. And surprisingly it paired really, really well. The spices from the Oktoberfest style beers really complimented the earth and baking spices out of the stick - all the way to the end. You could probably even pair this with a Barleywine or an IPA and be happy, but I think Quesada hit a good thing when they went with Oktoberfests.
I bought a box of the torpedoes. I prefer those because I can clip the tip to a more appropriate amount of draw. |
