RoMa Craft Tobac Intemperance Whiskey Rebellion 1794

• RoMa Craft Tobac has now offered this Limited Edition cigar to retailers nationwide. Originally introduced in 2016 as an exclusive for Famous Smoke Shop and sold in collaboration with Cigar Dojo.

• The name refers to a protest over taxes placed on whiskey by the United States Federal Government, the first time a domestic product had been taxed.
It lasted from 1791-1794 and finally ended when President George Washington rode to Pennsylvania to enforce the new law.

• The sizes are named after American patriots who played key roles in the Whiskey Rebellion of 1794.
Jefferson – Thomas Jefferson repealed the law in 1802 when he became president.
Hamilton – Alexander Hamilton designed the law to help repay the debt from the Revolutionary War.
Bradford – David Bradford was one of the protest leaders in western Pennsylvania.
McFarlane – James McFarlane was another protest leader that was killed at Bower Hill estate which was the home of John Neville, a wealthy landowner who owned Bower Hill and helped federal Marshall David Lenox serve warrants on people who didn’t pay their taxes.

• Blend:
Ecuadorian Habano Ligero wrapper over an Indonesian Besuki binder and fillers from the Dominican Republic and Nicaragua.
